At the end of my 2nd year at FEDISA, our class was briefed with creating a show-stopping corseted dress that was inspired by florals. We had to include beading or embellishments done by hand, as well as a head-piece.



I chose to design an off the shoulder dress with a fitted bodice that was rounded along the bust. “Sleeves” were inserted in the side seams that feature flowing stain. The gathered and full skirt flows from the waist, for a flattering high-waisted silhouette. The whole dress was embellished with hand made wool pom-poms, sequins and beads. The whole dress was lined to allow the corset to be secured properly.
