FEDISA Graduate Collection

These are technical drawings and the final looks on the runway from my Graduate Collection at FEDISA (2018). We were tasked with creating 3 women's looks and 2 men's looks - with the final women's look to be a "showstopper". My theme was based of human’s love for cats and dogs. I was inspired by the unconditional love dogs and cats give us and the childlike wonder and memories we gain when we grow up having them in our home. The collection had quite a maximalist aesthetic, including a repeat print I made from hand painted illustrations, bead work done by hand and the contrasting textures of satin, denim and faux fur.

This was our biggest project in our final year at FEDISA. It was an awesome year-long project and I'm proud to say I executed the entire collection from ideation to actually executing sewing the items of clothing. Only half of the graduating year got to show case their collection in the show, mine was one of the first to be chosen.
